The latest updates as we continue to monitor the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19).

As we continue to monitor guidance related to the coronavirus, we’ve made the decision to move all River City services ONLINE for the next two Sundays. We are excited for Pastor Jason to be back this Sunday to share a special message with you.

Have your students stay tuned to DAS Youth on

In order to fully comply with CDC recommendations, all events, Bible studies, gatherings, and ministry groups will be suspended until further notice. Our Easter Celebration at the Civic Center was also cancelled per the city.

Our staff and elders are praying and seeking out ways to connect with you weekly. You can look forward to hearing more information on how we will connect, encourage, and worship on a weekly basis for every age in the coming weeks.

You can also help give back to our community by donating to or volunteering at the SOS Food Bank. Supplies needed at this time are: Soup, Cereal and Canned Beans and can be dropped off from 1:00-4:00pm.

If someone asks why the church chose to respond to this health crisis by closing its doors, here’s our response:

1. We are loving our neighbors by protecting our neighbors.
2. We are not being fearful, we are being responsible.
3. This is what love requires of us in this season.

We know God is doing something incredible through River City Church during this time, and we are uniquely positioned to be a light to people searching for some good news. So, look for ways you can be the Church in our community. Share what you have with others who might need it. Check in on your neighbors. Continue inviting people to church—they can attend from their home!

We’re not going to let physical proximity keep us from telling others about Jesus, inviting them to hear His Gospel, and worshiping together at River City, because now more than ever, people are searching for hope and peace. Let’s show them where to find what they’re looking for as we invite them to church this weekend.

Follow us on Facebook and Instagram to stay connected to what’s happening at RCNB during this time.

Your generosity to River City is gratefully appreciated. You can continue to support the mission and vision of RCNB during this time by downloading our Church Center App for easy online giving. It is available for download on both Android and iOS.
